The title of the story is 'A Man Who Gave His Inheritance to His Three Sons.' Once upon a time, there was a widower who had three sons: Gam, Ma Naw, and Ma La. They lived in a village. He raised his three sons alone. Years passed, and he grew old. When he was about to die, he worried about his three sons. He feared that they might argue and fight over the inheritance and would not be able to divide the cows he left equally. He gave them his inheritance equally to his three sons before he passed away. He had seventeen cows. He said to his sons, "After I pass away, take these seventeen cows. Ma Gam takes half, and Ma Naw takes one third. Ma La, you take one ninth." Later, the father died. The three brothers tied up the cows and tried to divide them according to their shares, but they couldn't divide them. They thought about how to divide them for three days. The eldest brother, Ma Gam, said, "I don't know how to divide them. Do you?" The two younger brothers replied, "If even you don't know how to divide them, how can we? We don't know either." Ma Gam said, "Let's go to the judge. I think he can solve this issue. If he divides the cows for us, we will be satisfied." Then they pulled those seventeen cows and went to the judge. The judge asked them, "What brings you guys here?" They said, "Our father left us some cows after he passed away. We don't know how to divide them, so we came to you for help." He asked them, "How many cows?" The brothers said, "Seventeen. Our father told us that Ma Gam should take half, Ma Naw one third, and Ma La one ninth." The judge thought carefully and calculated, "Seventeen". This cannot be divided by three." The judge brought one cow from his own house. Now there were eighteen cows in total. He divided the cows in half and gave nine to Ma Gam. Since Ma Naw was to take one third, the judge gave him six cows, which was one third of eighteen. Ma La was to take one ninth of the cows, which came to two cows. He asked them, "Are you satisfied now?" They answered, "Yes, we are." He gave nine cows to Ma Gam, six to Ma Naw, and two to Ma La. Then he took his own cow back. The judge brought his own cow and took it back at the end. He didn't actually need to give his cow to them. It was a method of calculation related to math. The judge added his own cow and divided the cows for the three brothers using his mathematical skill. He satisfied them by dividing the cows according to their father's instructions. The three brothers went back home happily. This is the end.
